So Thankful

So Thankful

There are many reasons why I love the holiday season. It is always wonderful to have the opportunity to spend time with those you love. More importantly, creating magical memories around the dinner table with family and friends is an insurmountable experience. I absolutely love this time of year when the leaves are changing and the opportunities to connect, reflect and engage with family and friends suddenly emerge.

During this season we also have unique opportunity to reconnect and build lasting memories! In this ever volatile world in which we live, it is imperative that we make the time to connect with loved ones. You never know when you will have the opportunity to be amongst family and friends! Life is short and simply uncertain. Make this time meaningful and also memorable.

Another reason is because it gives us the chance to unplug and unwind. This time forces us to reflect upon the year and goal set for the upcoming year. As you already know, I love to plan but I also enjoy reflecting. Reflection forces you to see you for who you really are. What have I done to positively impact others? What more can I do to help? Self-reflection is needed and helps to keep us grounded.

Lastly, be in the moment. Ever find yourself in a situation (physically) but your mind is moving a mile a minute? Yes, it happens to the best of us. We must be intentional in our efforts to be fully present and engage with those around us. Make an earnest effort to dive in deep. Find out something new, whether it be a family recipe or even ideas that will help you be the best version of yourself.

I implore you to take time to connect, reflect and engage. I urge you to please put down your tech devices and have real conversations. Be present. Seize the moments you have and make it count! Make time to connect, reflect and engage.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

With love,
